Civaam contributed to the development of the Responsive Information Services in Emergencies (RISE) Toolkit, a resource designed to help frontline responders provide timely, relevant, and community-driven information in crisis settings. Developed with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and key humanitarian actors, the toolkit offers practical guidance, operational tools, and best practices for integrating locally led information services into emergency response efforts.

Our work focused on ensuring that communities are at the center of information production, moving beyond top-down communication to approaches that reflect the realities and needs of those directly affected. By prioritizing equity, inclusion, and intersectional strategies, the RISE Toolkit supports humanitarian actors in addressing information gaps and strengthening protection efforts in fragile contexts.
